Face Up Pai-Gow

Face Up Pai-Gow

Face Up Pai Gow Poker is a no-commission poker game played with a 53-card deck (standard 52 cards plus one Joker). The Joker may be used to complete a Straight, Flush, or Straight Flush. Otherwise, it functions as an Ace.

The Designated Player’s hand is dealt face up, and if it results in an Ace-High Pai Gow, the hand automatically pushes. Players must set their hands if they have placed a bonus wager.

How to Play
  • An Action Button determines the starting point for dealing, betting, and hand comparisons. It is assigned by high card draw at the start of the game and rotates clockwise each hand.
  • Each player receives seven cards and must split them into:
    • A Top Hand (2 cards, also called the “low” hand)
    • A Bottom Hand (5 cards, also called the “high” hand)
  • The Bottom Hand must outrank the Top Hand. If not, the hand is fouled and the base bet is forfeited.
  • The Designated Player’s hand is set according to the House Way.
  • Players may not touch their cards until they are pushed toward them by the dealer.
  • One player per hand. No coaching or advice is permitted.
  • Players may play multiple hands blind (set by House Way), but may only handle the first set of cards. The house may limit players to one betting spot.

Betting Structure
  • Players must place a Base Bet to participate.
  • Optional wagers include:
    • Ace High Bonus
    • Fortune Bonus
  • All bets must be placed before cards are dealt.

Base Bet Outcomes
  • Win both hands: Paid even money.
  • Lose both hands: Lose the wager.
  • Split (win one, lose one): Push.
  • Copy (tie on one hand): Player must win the other hand to push. If the Designated Player wins one and ties the other, the player’s bet pushes.

Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2

How To Play

  • A Dealer Button rotates clockwise each hand, offering all eligible players the opportunity to act as the Designated Player.
  • The dealer burns one card after each shuffle and at every dealer change.

Placing Bets

  • Players must place a primary wager in whole dollars within the posted table limits.

Dealing Cards

  • The dealer burns three cards, then deals one card to the player.

Winning the Hand

  • If the player’s card outranks the Designated Player’s card, the player wins even money on the primary wager.
  • If the Designated Player’s card is higher, the player loses the wager.
  • If the cards are equal in rank, the player may:
    • Surrender half of their primary wager, or
    • Extend the hand (commonly referred to as “War”) by placing an additional wager equal to the original bet.

Extending the Hand (“War”)

  • Both the player and the Designated Player must match the original wager.
  • The dealer burns three cards and deals one card to each.
  • The higher card wins. No further betting is required after the initial extension.
  • Players must have sufficient chips to cover all potential wagers or receive approval from management to retrieve additional funds.

Tie Wager Options

The Tie Wager pays based on specific tie outcomes and does not require the player to win the hand. Players may win the Tie Wager even if they surrender or lose the extended hand.

I Luv Suits

I Luv Suits

I Luv Suits Poker is played with a standard 52-card deck. The objective is to form a flush (cards of the same suit) with more suited cards than the Designated Player. Each player and the Designated Player receive seven cards, and the hand with the most suited cards wins.

If both hands have the same number of suited cards, the highest-ranking card in the flush determines the winner. If both the number of suited cards and their rankings are identical, the hand is a push for Ante and Raise wagers.

How To Play

Place Bets

Players must place a required Ante wager. Optional wagers include:

  • Flush Rush Bonus
  • Super Flush Rush Bonus

Deal Cards

Each player and the Designated Player receive seven face-down cards, dealt clockwise starting to the left of the dealer button.

Player Decision

After reviewing their hand, players may:

  • Fold (forfeit Ante and Bonus wagers), or

  • 6 or 7-card flush: Raise up to 3x Ante
  • 5-card flush: Raise up to 2x Ante
  • 4-card flush or less: Raise up to 1x Ante

Reveal & Compare

The Designated Player’s hand is revealed and compared to each player’s hand counter-clockwise from the right of the dealer button.

Designated Player Qualification

The Designated Player must have at least a three-card 9-high flush to qualify.

If the Designated Player does not qualify:

  • Ante is paid even money
  • Raise wager pushes

  • If the Designated Player wins, both bets are lost.

  • Once the cards have been distributed, each player shall set their hands by arranging the seven cards into a two-card hand and a five-card hand. The two-card hand is placed above the five-card hand, and the five-card hand must rank higher than the two-card hand, according to the ranking of hands.
    • When all the players’ hands have been set, the dealer exposes the Designated Player’s hand and sets it according to the “House Way” as described below. If the designated players hand is incorrectly set it must be corrected to the listed House Way:
House Way – Hand Setting Guidelines

    • 5s and below: Never split.
    • With a pair: Keep all in Bottom Hand.
  • Five Aces: Place a pair of Aces in Top Hand.
  • The Fortune Pai Gow Poker game wager wins if the two-card hand and the five-card hand held by the player ranks higher than the Designated Player’s two card hand and five card hand. Winning Fortune Pai Gow Poker game wagers are paid 1 to 1.
  • The Fortune Pai Gow Poker game wager loses if the two-card hand and the five-card hand held by the player ranks lower than the Designated Player’s two card hand and five card hand. The Fortune Pai Gow Poker game wager “pushes” if one of the hands held by the player ranks higher than the Designated Player’s corresponding hand, and the player’s other hand ranks lower than the Designated Player’s corresponding hand. In this case, neither the player nor the Designated Player wins or loses; the wager is a “push” and is returned to the player.
  • If one hand is identical in rank to the Designated Player’s hand, it is a “copy hand.” The Designated Player wins all “copy hands.”
  • 5 Players are allowed to play multiple consecutive betting spots in the blind and will have these hands set according to house way by the dealer. *The house reserves the right to limit players to one betting spot. The Fortune Bonus bet considers the best hand possible among the player’s seven cards and does not take into consideration how the five-card hand and two card hand were divided.
    • The Designated Player position rotation is offered in a clockwise motion every hand among all eligible Designated Players. Players will notify a staff member if they choose to be a Designated player.
    • The Joker can be used as an ace, or to complete a straight, flush, or straight flush on the Fortune Bonus Bet.
    • The Designated Player may pay qualifying Fortune Bonus Bet wagers from his or her own chip stack only if the Designated Player’s seven card Fortune Pai Gow Bonus hand loses to the player’s seven card Fortune Pai Gow Bonus hand. A players Fortune Bonus Wager is a loss if their seven-card hand does not beat the designated players hand. Wagers are collected or paid, to the extent that the Designated Player’s wager covers. Once the Designated Player’s wager has been exhausted, or the table maximum payout has been reached, the wagers not covered by the Designated Player shall be returned to the respective players.
    • Fortune Bonus Bet Pay Table will be posted on or at the table. Fortune Bonus Bet will have a max aggregated payout of $50,000 per betting spot per hand.
    • Rake is collected before cards are dealt. It is paid by the Designated Player, at a rate determined by the cardroom and posted at the table.
    • The Action Button will signify the starting point for ALL action. Action is defined as the first spot to receive cards, first player cards are pushed too, and first hand to be compared against the Designated Player’s hand. When playing multiple hands, a player may only handle the first cards pushed towards him/her. All other hands must be in consecutive/adjacent betting spots and must be set “house way” by the dealer.
