The HERO program is our way of recognizing veterans, active-duty military and first responders for their service and sacrifice.

How To Join

Visit the Lucky North® Rewards desk with required documents to verify your military or first responder status and receive your designation as a HERO member to unlock additional benefits:

  • Commemorative special issue HERO card
  • Upgrade to Emerald status (new and current Ruby members)
  • Access to future HERO exclusive promotions, offers and discounts.

Who qualifies to take part in the HERO program?

A HERO is any active-duty military or veteran, plus first responders. A first responder is defined as an individual with specific training to assist at the scene of an emergency. By profession these would primarily be defined as Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technician’s.

How do I sign up for the HERO program?

Eligible participants should visit the Lucky North® Rewards desk with the appropriate documentation to verify their military or first responder status. This is open to existing and new rewards program members.

What qualifies as required documentation to verify my status?

Guests can use the following to verify Military status:

  • Active-duty military, reserves, National Guard and retiree ID cards
  • Department of Veterans Affairs ID card
  • Form DD-214 Certificate of Release
  • A valid*, state issued ID or driver's license with military/veteran designation

Guests can use the following documents to verify first responder status

  • EMTs and paramedics can present a valid* state-issued license, a certification issued within the past 48 months or a valid* ID Card with their name and title on it.
  • Firefighters can use a valid* ID card with their name and title on it, a certification issued within the past 48 months or a valid* membership card.
  • Law enforcement officers can use a valid* ID card that states their name and title or a certification issued within the past 48 months.
*Valid is defined as an original copy that is not expired.
Can I use my regular Lucky North card and HERO card?

Yes, you can use both cards. They both will register play for your one singular Lucky North® Rewards account.

Does having a HERO card change my tier status?

For players that are Emerald, Sapphire, Diamond or Black Diamond, your tier status and benefits do not change. The HERO designation is an added benefit.

If you were a Ruby player or opened a new account when receiving HERO designation, as a HERO member you will automatically be upgraded to a permanent Emerald tier status.
